Adding Business Units

  • Business Units are added through the system Settings.
  • The business unit Task Tree can be populated from a saved template or built through adding individual tasks once the new business unit has been created.
  • Business units are connected to the organisations Business Centre’s.
  • Clients & Vendors can be added to business units for inclusion in the system collaboration functions.
  • Note: Clients & Vendors must be added to a business unit before they can be added to the business unit’s engagements and projects.
  • By default, all business units are added as a Cost Centre to the organisation, you can select to run the business unit as a Profit Centre.
  • Progress Billing if the business unit will be generating recurring revenue
  • Single Bill if the business unit will generate one time revenue
